Pipsawa is collection of timeless and functional knitwear made from natural wool and alpaca fibers. Each piece is designed and hand-knit with a respect for responsible farming and production. Pipsawa believes in creating warmth, which includes supporting and preserving the people, animals and landscapes that provide such beautiful resources. Pipsawa currently features a line of limited, small-batch hand knits. Each piece is made by hand in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
Pipsawa garments are made with 100% natural fibers. Our wool is sourced from Italy and our alpaca is sourced from Peru. Our suppliers hold certificates under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Oeko-Tex.
GOTS
Ensures that the biological textile products are made with natural fibers from organic farming, without the use of synthetic chemical pesticides or genetically modified organisms.
OEKO TEX
Is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system for raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products at all processing levels, as well as accessory materials used.
