My name is Mandy. I am an architect and fiber fiend. Pipsawa is my collection of knitwear.

Each piece is made by hand using seamless knitting techniques I learned when I was 7 years old. Hand-knitting is a slow and deliberate process, and the result is an heirloom that with proper care will last many decades. My pieces are mostly improvised, no 2 are exactly the same, and are shaped to be utilitarian with a timeless flair.

Wool is my lifelong obsession. Most of my fiber comes from small farms and spinneries. When sourcing fiber from larger manufacturers I only use Oeko-Tex and GOTS certified fibers. I currently work in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.
